If the dealer really wins, your insurance bet is paid 1:1 in size. If the dealer loses, your bet is also lost. The “surrender” may also be sometimes useful. It means you can leave the game before its end, saving half of your bet.

Small Blind and Big Blind are advance bets , so called small and large size “blind” bets. The Small Blind bet is made by the gambler who gets the first card. The Big Blind bet is made by the gambler sitting to the left from him.
